Stress sewing

I don't know how it is for your but the latest news event is stressing me out. The answer for me is to start an improv quilt......and just let the mindless sewing calm me down and what better color than blue. My bin of blue scarp is overflowing anyway.

  1. Yes, blue is a known "calming" color. I think that's why I rarely sew a quilt without it. I noticed I have a few of the same blue fabrics in my stash and scraps. Great minds think alike.

  4. Good idea! I was thinking about doing some of that same kind of sewing today! It's fun to let the fabric and shapes take you where it wants to go.
