Working on another UFO. I got a few antique linen a few months ago. I had to put it aside for more pressing work but now I am able to get back to it. I will turn it into a pillow I think. And it is a great occasion to play with my Inkense :)
Beautiful beautiful work. I'm a process person, so when I see stunning work like this, I can feel the "ZEN" you felt while painstakingly stitching it out. Just lovely!
That's a stunning piece! I'm trying to discern what was there before you started quilting (sorry if you have written about that before, I didn't see it) - were the leaf shapes and the outline shapes hand-stitched?

I like the effect created by combining antique cloth (with embroidery) and modern quilting. The result is quite lovely. The green adds a nice burst of color. This will make a gorgeous pillow.

This is so lovely! I would never have thought of using an old piece of linen in this way. The quilting and the added green for the leaves add a whole new dimension.
