I found this little nice project on Craftsy.com and knew I had to do it. It is a great way to use scraps so I got one tub and went to work. I think I might do a butterfly for each colors scraps I have. :) One more WIP....but who is counting :) I give you the link. It is not my pattern and do not get any moneys from it :)

Reply DeleteI thought the red was beautiful in your little picture on MCM, but seeing it large, and with that background, I'm in Love! Are you going to use the same background for all the blocks? I love your idea. Thanks for the link. desertskyquilts.wordpress.com
Reply DeleteYes I will use the same background and maybe a dark slim border for each butterfly. Thank you for stopping by

Reply DeleteYour butterfly is beautiful. Great job.
Reply DeleteWow! Your butterfly is stunning! You chose your fabric quite beautifully. And with your background fabric, it seems that a real butterfly landed on a pile of newspapers. I absolutely love it (and had to pin it in my Blocks board). I'm sure you'll make more stunning butterflies with your other colors. Thank you for the link--I added the pattern to my wish list.
Reply DeleteThank you for participating to my Fabric, Thread and Yarn link party. Have a good day!
